Watch the video as a class and stop when the narrator pauses to see if students can answer the questions the character asks. Have students practice more by telling them to set the time on their clocks to times that you call out. Bloom’s Cognitive Skill: Apply knowledge 4. In this activity, students have to complete their own Sunday schedule. The exercise combines everything that has been studied throughout the unit. Go over the example and Grammar Bridge. Tell them to use the clock to show the time when they do each activity. Capital Letters In English capital letters are used to write: - the days of the week. - the names of months. This is a great opportunity to play a vocabulary game involving words from the Picture Dictionary, Unit 3. Go to page 90 for more ideas. Cognitive Strategy: Recombining 3. This activity gives students further practice in setting and telling the time.
