Explain that Jim and Lily are going to go with them throughout their learning adventure in Here we Go! Introduce Jim and Lily’s friends: Vicky, Nick and Brenda. Ask students to point at the characters as you name them. Then, review by asking Is this Vicky? while pointing at her picture. 1. How-To: After each character says hello , stop the recording and encourage students to repeat the words and imitate the intonation. Ask students to pay attention to the incomplete words and use the letter clues to find the correct word. Play the recording and ask students to listen carefully to the chant. Ask students to identify the names of Jim and Lily’s friends. Then play the recording as many times as you want and encourage them to repeat, sing along and move.
